Navajo Brand®
Navajo Brand® pumice products are available in particle size distributions ranging from 6-mesh to 5 microns. Their high brightness, purity, and low specific gravity offer formulators unique opportunities for superior performance.
SafSil®
SafSil® products are high performance functional fillers that contain less than 0.1 % respirable crystalline silica and are commonly used in both water and solvent-based paints and coatings. SafSil® may be used successfully to replace many common fillers such as ground silica, nepheline syenite, calcium carbonate, and talc.
PFM (Pumice Filtration Media)®
PFM (Pumice Filtration Media)® products are used in a variety of filtration applications including cartridge and open multi-media filters. In cartridge filters, PFM (Pumice Filtration Media)® replaces sand, zeolites, and carbon-based filter media. In multi-media filters, PFM (Pumice Filtration Media)® effectively replaces anthracite coal on top of the sand layer. All PFM (Pumice Filtration Media)® products are NSF-61 approved and meet AWWA B100 physical and chemical specifications.
Tephra® (Pozzolan)
CR Minerals offers several grades of Tephra® to serve the construction and oil and gas industries as a natural pozzolan. Tephra® has been tested, proven, and certified as a natural pozzolan in accordance with ASTM C618N. CR Minerals’ pozzolans are among the most effective products available to protect concrete from the deleterious effects of chemical attack and will also enhance compressive strengths.
Mine Grade
CR Minerals’ Mine Products range in size from 1 ¼-inch aggregate stone to ¼-inch granular material. These products are used extensively in Horticulture, Landscaping, and Construction applications requiring lightweight aggregate materials.
